A Note About Our Pricing: What’s Changing in 2026 and Why

Since launching TheraHive more than three years ago, one of our core commitments has been to keep our Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) programs as accessible and affordable as possible. In that time, we’ve supported thousands of people through free resources and guided hundreds of graduates through our structured online DBT skills programs — all without raising our prices once.

When we first launched TheraHive, the only students who had access to our full program were those participating in a research study conducted by our cofounder, Dr. Jesse Finkelstein, during his doctoral work at Rutgers University. Since then, TheraHive has evolved into a much more robust and comprehensive experience — shaped by the needs of our community and built by a growing team dedicated to quality, innovation, and accessibility.

Over the past four years, we’ve made significant investments in the platform to better support our students. While we’re proud of what we’ve built — and the impact it’s had — the cost of delivering the program has grown. In order to continue operating sustainably and supporting our community at a high standard, we’ll be making a modest adjustment to our pricing beginning January 1, 2026.

What’s Changing

Starting January 1, 2026:

• The price of our Adult DBT Skills program will increase
• There will also be an increase to the monthly fees for maintaining curriculum access after graduation

This is the first price change we’ve made since launching, and the increase is in line with the national average cost increase over the past three years.

What’s Not Changing

If you are currently enrolled in the TheraHive program or already maintaining curriculum access, your pricing will not change.

You will continue at your current rate for the duration of your enrollment or subscription — no action is needed. 

If you’d like to lock in your existing pricing for a second round (50% off your current tuition rate for the Adult Group Learning program), you can do so by reaching out to our team and paying the tuition deposit now.

Why We’re Sharing This Now

We’re announcing this change several months in advance because we want to give everyone in our community the chance to take advantage of our current pricing before the increase goes into effect.

If you’ve been considering joining the TheraHive adult DBT program or resubscribing to maintain access, now is the perfect time. By enrolling or subscribing before January 1, 2026, you’ll lock in our current pricing — and that pricing will stay in place for the full duration of your participation.
